Bill Fife is a NASCAR driver. He comes from a family of racing people. His grandfather and father built and raced cars in the 1960's. His uncle "Bobby Griffin" was track champion in the Street Stock Division at Riverside Park, Agawana, MA. Bill came to California in 1975 with his parents at age 9. At 18 he bought his first car. He raced at Saugus Speedway for two years learning the basics of Street Stock Division finishing in the top 20 in points. He then became a Crew Chief on friend's race car. That car ran in the top 10 points for 3 years.

Bill wanted to be behind the wheel again, so he bought another car for the Street Stock Division. He finished the season in the top 20. He was determined to move up. He built his own Pro Stock car. This time Bill moved to the top 10 in points! With Saugus Speedway closing he finished 8th in points. Kern County Raceway called to invite him to race and he ran half of one season at Kern County Raceway with top 5 finishes. The next season with sponsorship, Bill ran in the top 5 all year with a main event win. He set the fast qualify time for the 100 lap season highlight and finished the year 4th place in points. This was a remarkable season for Bill and the Fingertight Racing Team!

When the Kern County Raceway closed its doors, it was off to the Orange Show Speedway in San Bernardino. The 1998 season was challenging but Bill is again running in the top 10 points. He finished in 8th place and is looking to move up to the top 5 this year. In order to do this, Fingertight Racing is asking for your help as a sponsor. We are commited to success and are dedicated to building a good relationship between the Fingertight Racing Team and your business.
